In these conditions of sale:
The company means Anglia Firewood, Unit 7A, The Brickworks, Old Stowmarket Road, Woolpit, Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk. IP30 9QS.
The customer means any person contracting with the company for the supply of products or services.
Delivery means delivery by the company or any subcontractor employed by the company directly or indirectly.
These conditions may only be modified by a variation in writing signed on behalf of the company by a Director.
Submission of a purchase order online will be taken as agreement to these conditions of sale.

The company will make every effort to deliver products on the agreed date, but if for any reason the company is unable to deliver then no liability whether in damages or otherwise for delay of whole or any part of the goods ordered arising from any cause whatsoever.
Delivery by the company shall be conditional upon access free from encumbrances and good roads being available to the company’s vehicles to the place of delivery.
The company will not accept any liability for damages to property caused during delivery.
If the company, or its agent cannot gain access to the delivery address then additional costs will be incurred to re-attempt the delivery. Deliveries are made using a 4 x 4 vehicle with a 5m long trailer or luton van with tail lift ( 3m height x 2.5m width). It is the customers responsibility to inform the company if there may be an access problem. The company will confirm the outcome by e-mail. In such cases that delivery, in the opinion of the company is not possible (although unlikely), then the company reserves the right to cancel the order. This above action must be completed before 2.00 pm on the day prior to delivery. E-mail confirmation of orders also request the customer to contact the company if a delivery problem may occur. Delivery vehicles use tail lift offloading, and it must be emphasized that the delivery vehicle must be able to park in an area where the delivery is to be made. A pallet truck is then used to manoeuvre the products off of the tail lift to the delivery point. The customer, or somebody appointed by the customer, should be at the delivery point to accept the delivery unless a clear instruction has been made prior to the delivery; we reserve the right to make an additional charge for time lost due to not being able to contact an absent client or the absence of a delivery instruction.
Stacking service is available to customers, we can remove the logs from the XL crates and stack to a place of your choosing. There must be no steps and should be unhindered access by a wheelbarrow. We will not enter the customers house to carry out any stacking service. The distance from vehicle to stacking area must be within 25m of packaged product.
Crate collections can be requested when placing an order online, or by telephone at a charge of £10.00 per crate and will only be offered when delivering a product. Crate collection can be found on our XL crate page.
Our 2 – 9 working days delivery is our aim, but sometimes this is not possible and at peak times delivery times can exceed nine days, we will bare no liability for this.
Please note if for any reason you wish to alter, amended or cancel your order a £10 (flat fee) administration fee will be charged. This will be wavered in circumstances such as poor product or wrong product. Each case will be looked at before a decision is made. This does not include any delays in delivery (please see section 3 Delivery sub-section 7).
Cancellations are not accepted by telephone and must be by one of the following methods:
Letters will have been deemed to be received three working days following the postmark date.
If a product is refused, customers are required to return the goods at their own expense to Anglia Firewood, Unit 7A, The Brickworks, Old Stowmarket Road, Woolpit, Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk. IP30 9SA within 7 working days of delivery.
